We’ve transitioned from Oakville Performance & Wellness to Qi Movements. This change is more than just a new name—it’s a reflection of our growth and a deeper alignment with our mission: to help you move with purpose, balance your energy, and unlock your fullest potential.

When we first opened our doors in 2014, we were focused on physical fitness. Over time, it became clear that our mission was evolving. We weren’t just helping people achieve physical wellness; we were empowering them to connect more deeply with their whole selves—body, mind, and soul. The name Qi Movements captures this evolution.

Qi is a concept from Eastern medicine that refers to the vital life force or energy that flows through all living things. Qi flows through the pathways in the body called meridians, and maintaining a balanced and free-flowing Qi is believed to sustain physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellbeing. When Qi is blocked, weak, or imbalanced, it is thought to contribute to illness or emotional distress. In broader spiritual terms, Qi represents the energy that connects and animates all aspects of the universe.

Our new name aligns perfectly with our vision: to guide you toward harmony in movement, strength, and energy. This change is a celebration of growth, and it signifies our commitment to unlocking your potential in all facets of your life. Qi Movements represents the purposeful actions, small and large, that facilitate lasting change in your health and life.
